In Person Birth Services

My Package Includes:

• A complimentary, no-obligation interview over phone, video chat, or in-person at a coffee shop in the South San Francisco area.

• 3 prenatal visits (these usually last 1-2 hours) which I usually break down into the following discussions:
1- Birth Preparation which includes discussion of your birth plan, your hopes and desires, understanding medical procedures, medications, and options for yourself and your baby.
2- Postpartum Preparation with education specifically around caring for the mother’s body during her early recovery time, newborn care and home support planning.
3- An In Person Labor Rehersal in your home, practicing relaxation and positions where you will likely spend most of your labor.

We can address any questions/concerns that arise throughout your pregnancy and I can provide suggestions and resources to help you stay healthy, avoid complications, or find alternatives where possible. These can be in person, phone, video chat, or a combination.

• Access to my library of videos for education, birth rehearsal, and body alignment for getting baby into the best position for birth. We can create a plan for what to watch and when in our first prenatal visit.

• Unlimited phone, text, and email support from the time you hire me through 2 weeks postpartum.

• On-call (24 hours) for the 2 weeks prior through 2 weeks after your due date.  Once you are in labor, I will come at your request and will provide continuous labor support at your home or hospital. If your labor begins at home but you are planning to birth at the hospital I will help you determine the best time to go. (If your birth occurs outside your on-call dates, I will make every effort to attend. I also have an extensive network of doulas in the event a backup is needed.)

• Two to three hours of postpartum support are included in this package to process and review your labor experience, discuss postpartum healing, provide breastfeeding support, answer questions, and provide information or referrals. If you would like to add on additional breastfeeding support sessions or baby care training, I offer this at a discounted hourly rate of $65/hr (usually $80/hr) to my birth clients. (Rate increase for any bookings after December 31, 2023)
