Postpartum Care
Postpartum Care Focused on the First Days Home
I specialize in supporting families during the very first days home after the birth of their sweet baby. My time with you focuses on breastfeeding, the mother’s recovery and rest, and newborn care education. I also work closely with your family and support team to ensure the new mother is surrounded by confident, informed care.
Together, we’ll create a care plan that supports healing and helps everyone know what to expect in these first few days and weeks. This time is so important for helping the mother’s body recover fully, getting breastfeeding off to a healthy start, and establishing rhythms for sleep, feeding, and self-care.
My goal is to equip and empower—giving you practical tools, gentle guidance, and confidence in this beautiful, emotional, and often exhausting season.
Breastfeeding Support
I have extensive training in breastfeeding support and love helping families start strong. Together, we can troubleshoot latch, positioning, milk supply, feeding frequency and routines, and pumping. I’ve supported many mothers in transitioning off nipple shields and increasing their baby’s intake directly from the breast through simple, effective techniques that make feeding more comfortable and sustainable for both mother and baby.
Whether you’re navigating the first few days of feeding or adjusting as your baby grows, I’m here to help make breastfeeding feel more natural and achievable.
Ongoing Postpartum Support
Beyond breastfeeding, I continue to offer guidance in newborn care, sleep routines, and maternal recovery. Support can range from a quick 15-minute phone call to a few hours in person, depending on your needs.
If your home support network isn’t able to provide the level of hands-on help you need, I can connect you with trusted postpartum doulas who offer extended in-home care and recovery support.
Investment
There are two ways families typically begin postpartum support with me: planning ahead before baby arrives, or reaching out once baby is already here.
Planning Ahead Before Birth — $550 Initial Investment
For families who would like to plan ahead, I offer a no obligation 30 minute phone or video chat during your pregnancy so we can connect and make sure my services are the right fit. Once you determine you’d like to move forward, the initial investment secures your due month on my calendar and includes:
An initial postpartum planning call, about one hour
Up to four hours of postpartum support when you return home from the hospital, birth center, or once you are settled at home
After payment, we’ll schedule your consultation to talk through your postpartum healing, bonding, feeding, and care plan. I’ll follow up with helpful resources, referrals, and planning worksheets to guide you as you prepare.
Your first home visit usually lasts three to four hours and focuses on recovery, rest, breastfeeding, and helping you and your support team settle in with confidence.
Support After Baby Has Arrived — $120/hour
Many families reach out after baby has already arrived, once they realize they need help with feeding, recovery, sleep rhythms, or simply figuring out what is normal in these first days.
A complimentary 30-minute phone or video chat get’s things started so we can connect, talk through what’s happening, and determine the best next step. Sometimes that means scheduling an in-person visit, and sometimes it makes sense to continue with focused phone or video support.
After the initial complimentary chat, additional support is billed at $120 per hour, in 15-minute increments. This applies to phone, video, and in-person support.
Quick questions or texts under five minutes are always complimentary. For questions that need more thoughtful guidance, troubleshooting, or back-and-forth care planning, we’ll move into billable support so I can give you the attention and clarity you deserve.
Booking & Payment
I offer a no-obligation 30-minute phone or video chat so we can connect and make sure my services are the right fit.
If you are booking before baby arrives, the $550 payment secures your spot on my calendar.
If baby has already arrived, we’ll begin with the complimentary 30-minute chat and then either schedule an in-person visit or continue with billable phone/video support at $120 per hour.
My preferred payment methods are Zelle, Apple Pay, or check, though I also accept major credit cards with a processing fee.
At your first home visit, we’ll review what your next few days and weeks should look like, identify where extra support may be helpful, and plan any follow-up visits together.
There’s no minimum commitment—just the right amount of care for your recovery, confidence, and peace of mind.
